As you probably already know, today is the first Tuesday in August, do you know what that means? -

We will be having a sale all day long (15% off if you buy $15 or more.) Also, we will be serving snacks and drinks during the evening so stop on by and say hi, but dont’ forget your wallet.
Remember - if you have a record collection with decent punk, metal, rock, jazz, blues, polkas and 80s pop that you want to get off your hands… call us and schedule an appointment so we can check it out and make you an offer you can’t refuse. If your record collection is not decent, we will most likely laugh at your expense and call you a poseur.
Death to all Shoplifters.
This Thursday June 12 we here at SMASH are proud to present a short documentary entitled ” Vinyl Scrapyard” by local hero, Billups Allen.
The 30 minute doc is about the trials and tribulations of independent record stores so it’s a topic I’d think all of our clients would be interested in. We’ll also have some snacks and drinks so come on down if you have the evening free.
The screening will start around 7pm and is FREE

Bonnie “Prince” Billy - “Lie Down in the Light” Drag City 2008
Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy is letting the sun shine in so you can Lie Down In The Light. Before you get undressed, we’re talking about a brand-new twelve-song album of excellent new songs and sounds, okay? Get that thong back up your crack and listen! Bristling with guitar strings and laced with harmonies, Lie Down In The Light is the brightest album to date from the Bonnie ‘Prince.’
